A. Definition of Analytical Exposition
Analytical Exposition is kind of text which consist into the kinds Argument. Analytical Exposition
merupakan jenis teks yang termasuk ke dalam jenis teks argument.Teks ini berisi tentang pemikiran
terperinci tentang sebuah kejadian atau peristiwa yang ada di sekitar. Biasanya teks ini sering
dijumpai pada buku-buku ilmiah, artikel koran, dan jurnal.

- To analyse or explain ‘how’ and ‘why’
Atau untuk meyakinkan pembaca bahwa topik yang dihadirkan penting untuk dibahas atau
mendapat perhatian dengan cara pemberian argument-argumen atau pendapat-pendapat yang
mendukung ide pokok atau topik tersebut. Fungsi analytical exposition yaitu untuk meyakinkan
pembaca atau pendengar bahwa tema yang diangkat menarik untuk di bahas melalui pendapat-
pendapat yang dipaparkan.
C. Generic structure analytical exposition juga dibagi menjadi 3, sebagai berikut:
- Thesis : Thesis berisi pengenalan atau pemaparan terhadap tema yang akan di bahas atu yang
diangkat. - Argument : Argument atau pendapat yaitu berisi pendapat-pendapat yang mulai di paparkan
oleh penulis terhadap isu yang siangkat tersebut. - Reiteration : Dengan kata lain reiteration merupakan kesimpulan, yaitu berupa penulisan kembali
ide pokok, reiteration terletak pada akhir paragraf. Recommendation juga biasa
disebut dengan conclusion atau kesimpulan.
D. Language Features of Analytical Exposition (Ciri Kebahasaan)
- The use of Emotive word ( Menggunakan kata Emotif)
example : alarmed (cemas), worried (khawatir) - The use “words that qualify statement” (kata yg memenuhi syarat pernyataan)
example: usual (biasa), probably (mungkin) - The use ‘words that link argument (Menggunakan kata yang menggunakan argument)
(firstly, however, on the other hand, therefore) - The use of the present tense
- The use of compound and complex sentences
E. What is The Characteristic of Anlytical Exposition?
Karakteristik atau ciri dari analytical exposition yaitu :
- Analytical exposition selalu memakai simple present tense
- Banyak menggunakan conjunction (kata hubung)
- Berisi argumen-argumen.
- Banyak menggunakan kata-kata yang mengandung sebab akibat.

Argument 1
First, we thank mom for all that he has done. Mothers are the ones that keep us when day and night. He also took care of us when we are sick. He always pray for us so that we always healthy. Mom always get up early to prepare breakfast.
Argument 2
Second, we need to apologise for any mistake we both realized and not realized. We‘ve probably been acting rude or impolite to mother applies.

Third, we must always thanks for having had a mother. Many people who had lost his mother. Mother’s day is a time to give gifts to the mom that we love.

Respiratory viruses such as COVID-19, spread when mucus or droplets containing the virus enter the body through the nose, mouth, or eyes. One of the cheapest, easiest, and most important ways to prevent the spread of the virus is to wash your hands often with soap and water. Then why is washing hand is important in the COVID-19 outbreak? Is it really work?
First, objects in public places may have viruses on them. Our hands touch many objects in public and there may be viruses on them. The contaminated hand then touches our eyes, nose, and mouth. We can become sick when the virus infected our body.
Second, we also interact with many people. There is a chance they can carry the virus in their hands when shaking hands or interacting with us. Even though we do not touch contaminated objects, we touch that person's hand.
Accordingly, washing hands is important because we can be contaminated at any time by viruses. Washing hands with soap will be cheaper and easier to do than using hand sanitizer. It is clear that washing hands keep the health of ourselves and the people we love around us, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Virus pernapasan seperti COVID-19 menyebar ketika lendir atau tetesan yang mengandung virus masuk ke dalam tubuh melalui hidung, mulut, atau mata. Salah satu cara termurah, termudah, dan terpenting untuk mencegah penyebaran virus adalah sering-sering mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air. Lalu mengapa mencuci tangan penting dalam wabah COVID-19? Apakah ini benar-benar manjur?
Pertama, objek di tempat umum mungkin terkena virus. Tangan kita menyentuh banyak benda di depan umum dan mungkin ada virus di atasnya. Tangan yang terkontaminasi kemudian menyentuh mata, hidung, dan mulut kita. Kita bisa sakit jika virus menginfeksi tubuh kita.
Kedua, kita juga berinteraksi dengan banyak orang. Ada kemungkinan mereka bisa membawa virus di tangan mereka saat berjabat tangan atau berinteraksi dengan kita. Meskipun kita tidak menyentuh benda yang terkontaminasi, kita menyentuh tangan orang itu.
Oleh karena itu, mencuci tangan menjadi penting karena setiap saat kita dapat terkontaminasi oleh virus. Mencuci tangan pakai sabun akan lebih murah dan mudah dilakukan dibanding menggunakan hand sanitizer. Jelaslah bahwa mencuci tangan menjaga kesehatan diri kita dan orang-orang yang kita cintai di sekitar kita, terutama saat terjadi pandemi COVID-19.
