Label : Penjelasan, Tujuan, Struktur, Contoh, Soal dan Pembahasan

Assalamualaikum warrahmatullahiwabarakatuh. 

Hallo sobat blogger... selamat datang kembali di blog edukasi ini. Salah satu materi Short Functional Text yang dipelajari dalam kurikulum Bahasa Inggris SMP adalah materi tentang label. Label sering kita jumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. 
Apa yang kalian ketahui tentang Label dan seberapa penting kita membaca label ketika membeli sesuatu? Berikut ini penjelasannya.

                                                    LABEL
Definisi
Label is a small piece of paper or plastic which give information about a product.

(Potongan kertas atau plastic kecil yang memuat informasi tentang suatu barang).

We can find this label in food or drink package and medicine package.

(Kita bisa menemukan label pada bungkus makanan, kaleng minuman, kemasan obat
dan kosmetik).

Struktur teks label 
Pada umumnya, label berisi informasi tentang: 
1. Name or brand of the product : berisi nama atau merk sebuah produk.
    biasanya ditulis di bagian atas depan bungkus produk dan ditulis dengan huruf besar.

 2. Information
     terdiri dari :
          1). Description (berisi penjelasan/keterangan tentang produk)
          2). Content  (isi/jumlah produk biasanya dlm satuan gram atau ml untuk produk cair)
          3). Ingredients (bahan baku)
          4). Nutrition Facts (Informasi Gizi)
          5). Direction to use /instruction (cara menggunakan)
          6). Direction to store (cara penyimpanan)
          7). Expiration date (tanggal kedaluwarsa)

Social function (fungsi sosial)
Tujuan label adalah:
      1. To get detail information about the product
      2. To choose which product is safe for us
      3. To avoid negative effects of the product

    Arti pertanyaannya adalah apa tujuan penulis dalam penulisan label diatas.

    jadi jawaban untuk memberikan informasi lengkap tentang permen kopi.

    D. In a room temperature

    Pembahasan : Dimana kita harus menyimpan setelah produk itu dibuka kemasannya. 

    Jawabannya cukup simpan di tempat yang kering.

    D. All people

    Pembahasan : siapa yang boleh mengkonsumsi permen kopi. 

    jawabannya semua orang (all people)

    C. 10 kkal

    D. 2000 kkal

    Pembahasan : Berapa banyak Karbohidrat yang ada di produk tersebut. 

    Cari dalam label jumlah karbohidratnya adalah 2 gram.

5. Does the product contain protein?

     A. Yes, it does

     B. Yes, they do

     C. No, it does not

     D. No, they do not

     Pembahasan : apakah produk itu mengandung protein? 

     Disitu produknya tidak mengandung protein jadi jawabannya No, it does not.
